USA Martial Arts, I not only speak for myself, but my whole family as well. Words cannot express to you how "AMAZING" we feel USA Martial Arts is. Sensei Lynn Gray, Sensei Mike Gray, Sensei Donnelly, Sensei Bowman, boxing Instructor Dave, Sensei Day, EACH AND EVERYONE OF THE INSTRUCTORS and fighters, Have made a young girl's dream come true. Amber, "Turtle Tank Ignatowski" came to your dojo wanting to learn how to be a cage fighter. From the minute she walked into your dojo to start her training, she was treated just like one of the guys, (which is the only way she'd ever want it, no special tratment just because she's a girl). The professionalism, the courteous, respectful attitude that flows thru the dojo really sets all of you heads about any I've ever seen. Since Amber has been with USA, not only has she had the time of her life training with an awesome group of guys, but she's getting to do exactly what she wants. What she is taught ath the dojo, ( great character, humility, kind consideration, respect for all people, good sportsmanship, courage, amongst many otherr woderful things), is something I see her display everywhere she goes now. For a "GIRL" to walk into a male dominated sport and be treated as one of their own is very rare and something I'm so grateful USA does for Amber. I know for a fact there are many places that would NOT want a young girl being around and would treat her like an outsider. USA Martial Arts not only treats her like one of their own, but has contributed to supporting and encouraging her to move toward one of her dreams, to be a cage fighter. Having been to her fights, I see so many egos, bad attitudes and arrogance walking around from other dojos, it looks ridiculous. When USA's fighters and instructors show up, they present themselves in such a class way, they are so "team oriented", have such great attitudes, (win or lose), and treat each other with such great respect it really makes all of you stand out head above the rest. You're all a class act to follow. :) We're also extremely impressed with how great of a gift the instructors and fighters seem to have in knowing how to balance just how hard to push Amber and knowing when to pull back a tad. I love hearing her stories when she comes home after training; she really looks up to all of you there and seems to leave after each training with something new. She's blessed to be a part of such an amazing group of fighters and instructors. We couldn't have asked for a better group of guys for her to look up to and teach or so many amazing things both spiritually and physically. Heartfelt thanks to each and everyone of you for all you do for her. You guys raise some pretty amazing fighters, the very core of USA Martial Arts is something to be proud of, and words can't begin to describe the incredible personalities there. Proud Family of Amber, "Turtle Tank" Ignatowski" |

USA Martial Arts, My son, Domonic, has been a student of USA Martial Arts for nearly four years. When he started he was a very shy and uncertain boy. Domonic wanted to try Tae Kwon Do for the same rreason that many young children want to, television shows with martial arts. The fad of the art has long worn off for Domonic. He has chosen on his own will to continue at the dojo for the love of the art, the fun he has and the great people. When he first started we lived five minutes from the dojo. A little more than a year later we moved and even though there are martial arts schools closer to use, we drive the extra miles to USA Martial Arts. Domonic has benefited greatly from the higly qualified Sensei's and staff at the dojo. He is no longer that shy and uncertain boy. Domonic has learned that hard work and discipline comes with rewards and self satisfaction. I feel that the staff as the art has helped in the development of a strong and positive self efficacy for my son. The Sensei's expect great things from their students and the students seem to responds well to this. I personally like that along with the quality training in Tae Kwon Do, USA Martial Arts also offer training in other disciplines. For one monthly fee my son can train nearly seven days a week and eventually learn three valuable disciplines. We generally only train three days a week, which gives Domonic plenty of training and physical activity. Thanks you, |

USA Martial Arts, With some experience in martial arts, I had a good idea what I wanted from a school. After the two week free trial period, I thought I found what I was looking for. Little did I realize that I was getting much more than I expected. From the first day, I felt it was the goal of everyone I worked with, to help me succeed. With multiple arts available, you learn to keep an open mind and never limit yourself to one style. The teaching is very traditional and realistic. I love practicing Aikido, although if the philosophy of training was different from the way it is here, I don't believe I would be as enthusiastic about the art. Working with the striking arts enhances your ability to defend yourself. You never can predict what situation you might encounter. There is no perfect tecnique that will work in all circumstances or on every individual. With the experienced instructors at USA Martial Arts you are trained to react in any situation. Tetsushinkan Dojo has become more then a place to train and learn, it has developed into a lifestyle. Jeffery V Ray |

April 7,2005 USA Martial Arts, Near the end of 2002, I walked into USA Martial Arts in Holland, Ohio. I had always wanted to learn Aikido but being just short of my 53rd birthday, I wasn't sure if it was too late to learn or how I would be received. I'm proud to say that I just earned my Brown Belat and am staying to work on my goal of earning a Black Belt in Aikido. I sincerely don't believe this would have been possible at any other school. The instructors take into consideration each individual's strengths and weaknessses. You can learn at your own pace while receiving constant encouragement and feedback from a group of instructors who are truly world-class practitioners in a wide variety of martial arts. Unlinke other schools where the class is scheduled twice a week, at USA Martial Arts, one can go to a class six days a week at convenient day or night hours. If Aikido is not your things, USA Martial Arts also offers Tae Kwon DO, Jujitsu, and Kick Boxing. If you like, you can take instruction in each one of these martial arts for the same reasonable monthly dues. In addition, classes for children are conveniently scheduled. What it comes down to is that at USA Martial Arts, you will find world class instruction, a variety of martial arts, and probably the finest group of people, both instructors and fellow students, with whom I have ever had the pleasure to be associated. I have had a wide variety of life experiences and my experience at USA Martial Arts ranks among the top. I've never regretted walking through that door two and one half years ago. Ray Carroll |
